            Parcels is a dynamic, fast-paced, growing organization whose greatest asset is the sharp, energetic and reliable team of people who deal with our clients on a daily basis. While each staff person is trained for a particular area within the company, cross training in the different service areas not only allows management to provide full coverage for our clients at all times, but also offers individual employees the opportunity for diversity and advancement within the company.

While all the positions below are not open at all times, Parcels is constantly on the lookout for quality people with a strong work ethic, a sense of personal responsibility, and the ability to communicate. The atmosphere is casual but challenging, and possibilities exist for flexible scheduling.




      Couriers and Drivers
Couriers and drivers make deliveries to locations throughout the City of Wilmington (walking and cycling) and throughout Delaware (by van) and the Northeastern states, and file documents in the many federal, state and county courts and agencies. The various tasks assigned to each courier and driver are extremely important and often time sensitive. The skills needed to perform this job include, but are not limited to: responsibility, attention to detail, good communication skills, courteous and professional attitude, speed, general knowledge of legal procedure and the ability to be thorough.


      Research Specialist
Research Specialists in our Delaware Document Retrieval division provide the legal and corporate communities with documents from the many federal, state and county courts and offices. Research Specialists have an area of expertise in certain courts and agencies but are able to process orders for all of the courts and agencies. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: retrieving documents from the court or agency, retrieving documents from Parcels' database, researching case information, copying requested documents and answering non-legal questions for the clients. Some of the skills needed to perform these responsibilities include: advanced verbal communication and professional attitude; attention to detail; basic computer knowledge of word processing, internet access and e-mail capabilities; personal skills that welcome flexibility and variety in the work place; general clerical skills of typing, filing, answering phones, note taking and alphabetizing; advanced attributes of responsibility, dependability and organization.


      Facilities Management Staff
Employees working in Facilities Management are assigned to a particular law firm which employs Parcels to handle various non-legal tasks for the attorneys, paralegals and secretaries of that firm. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: the operations and upkeep of the firm's copy center, overseeing the firm's mail room for internal and external mail, shipping and receiving packages and documents, ordering and stocking supplies, copying requested documents and answering non-legal questions for the client. Some of the skills needed to perform these responsibilities include: advanced verbal communication and personable attitude; basic computer knowledge of word processing, internet access and e-mail capabilities; personal skills that welcome flexibility and variety in the work place; general clerical skills of typing, answering phones; advanced attributes of responsibility, dependability and organization.


      Virtual Docket (Electronic Services) Staff
Virtual Docket staff provide the legal and corporate communities with scanning services and on-line documents from the many federal, state and county courts. Employees have an area of expertise, but may perform a variety of tasks within the Virtual Docket division and throughout the company. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: retrieving documents from the courts and firms, retrieving documents from Parcels Inc. database, document imaging, data entry, maintaining a paper-less office for clients and answering non-legal questions for the clients. Some of the skills needed to perform these responsibilities include: advanced verbal communication and personable attitude; broad computer knowledge of word processing, internet access, database and e-mail capabilities; personal skills that welcome flexibility and variety in the work place; general clerical skills of typing, filing, answering phones, note taking and alphabetizing; advanced attributes of responsibility, dependability and organization.
